In 1951 it became internationally illegal to administer mutogenic drugs, like AZT and Thalidomide, to pregnant women and children. This law was broken in 1989 when doctors were allowed by the FDA to give AZT to children diagnosed with AIDS. Mutogenic drugs stop DNA replication, the means by which cells multiply. AZT and Thalidomide kill cells, especially in the bone marrow where white blood cells are produced.

The Incarnation Children's Center (ICC), a program conducted by Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, began "testing" AZT on HIV-positive crack babies in the early 1990's. Since then, the program has grown to include children of all ages who are recipients of Medicaid and, therefore, required to take the HIV test.

These toxic chemicals cause severe vomiting and diarrhea. Health care workers at ICC say the children become too weak and sick to eat, and young outpatients are unable to attend school. Workers are warned not to touch or inhale the drugs. Many have come forward and stated publicly their belief that children are dying from these treatments.

Kids whose parents refuse to give them AZT at home are taken by the Bureau of Child Welfare and admitted into the hospital, where the drugs are then administered under observation. If they fight against the intravenous injections or hide the pills in their mouth and then spit them out, they are taken to the operating room where a tube is surgically implanted in their stomachs, so the drugs can thereafter be easily given without interference.
AZT was developed as chemotherapy for cancer in the mid-1960's. It was so toxic to laboratory rats that the findings were never published.

ccording to one description of AZT, it killed lab rats no matter how low the dosage. Yet AIDS researchers revived the drug, sold under the name Retovir, in the mid-1980s as a "cure" for immune deficiency. People have been dying from AZT poisoning ever since.

This is not the first time in medical history that a cure was worse than the disease or that innocent humans were used as guinea pigs. Eventually all of the governmental and drug-company-sponsored health professionals who participated in the AZT fraud will be brought to justice. In the meantime, adult New Yorkers must stop the torturous deaths inflicted by the medical establishment on children diagnosed with HIV.
